I believe that it's never too late and that you always have a choice.
Do you want to wake up excited for work?
To feel like you’re living up to your potential? Or in more alignment?
Do you want to make a career change, but worry about maintaining or creating a certain kind of lifestyle?
You're in the right place.
My name is Sheila Devi and I'm a career transition coach.
I work with smart, hard-working people who want to make a career change — and who want to figure out what they'd be thrilled to do next.
My goal isn’t just to help you get any old job so you can leave the one you have now. It's to help you find work that's aligns with what's most important to you and that helps you create a life you love. A career that feeds your whole life, not just one that brings home a paycheck. (Though a paycheck is an important part of it.)
I get what it’s like to long for something else.
- to know you’re capable of more.
- to have a bigger vision for your life than what it is now.
- to want to do work that’s interesting and important to you.
- to not want to feel like you’re starting over from scratch.
- to want to attain (or maintain) a certain quality of life.
At 41 years old, I’ve had four careers. (The first three perfectly prepared me for exactly what I do now.)
Career #1 — I was a professional theater actor for most of my twenties. Like most actors, I had a “day job” in order to make money to keep pay the rent and keep food in the fridge. After getting let go when my department downsized, I decided I never wanted to have a day job again.
Career #2 — Short-sightedly, I went to culinary school. I loved to cook and it was the only other thing I could see myself doing. I graduated, took my plaid pants and sharp knives out into the real world, but was soon disappointed to discover that professional cooking was so not for me.
Career #3 — This time, I creatively combined my skills and interests and became a hotel concierge. I loved it. It was challenging, fun, and I was really good at it, quickly rising to be Chief Concierge at a top hotel. But, once at the top of the industry, the challenge was gone, and I found myself asking "what's next?" yet again.
Career #4 — I went to coaching school and discovered that my sweet spot was (not surprisingly) career transition coaching. I love the work I do with my clients, helping them figure out what they really want to do in their lives - and helping them to bypass some unnecessary steps along the way.
I now wake up excited for work, plus I love the overall life my work is allowing me to create.

How do you feel about work right now?
And how do you want to feel a year from now?
It’s easy to let six months, a year, or five years pass without actually doing anything to make a change.
I can't tell you how often I hear the words, "I should have done this a year ago."
If you’re ready to take the first step with me now, I won’t let you be in the same place this time next year.
A lot of people make career changes only to find themselves just as unhappy as they were before. That won’t happen when you work with me.
Every day, I help people who want to make career changes, but either don’t know what they want to do or how to choose between ideas, to figure out a next step that feels fabulous to them.
You might not know the important steps to take and questions to ask, but I do.
I can guide you through your career transition so that you’ll be able to see each step clearly.
We’ll look at energy, mindset, and what’s important to you.
You'll hone in on what you don't want, which is just as important as what you do want.
We’ll take time to brainstorm and thoroughly evaluate your options.
When you’re finished working with me, you'll be sure of your next step.
Yes, I'm legit.
In addition to personally navigating three full-blown career transitions, I’ve been a full-time coach since the summer of 2015. I'm a CPC (Certified Professional Coach) with accreditation from the ICF (International Coach Federation.) I'm also an ELI-MP (Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner) and a CTS (Core Transition Specialist). Translation…I’ve put hundreds of hours into learning my craft. I’ve also spent hundreds of hours doing my craft. I spend my days helping clients move from jobs that sap them to roles that fulfill them.
This is what I believe…
~ Everything you’ve done up until this point has prepared you perfectly for where you're going next.
~ Nothing was a waste of time.
~ You don't have to start from scratch.
~ What’s right for someone else may not be right for you. You’ll be happier when you figure out what’s right for you.
Most people make career changes without really thinking it through. As a result, they end up no happier than they were before.
A smart career change takes time and consideration.
Are you feeling called towards something else?

I can help you.
