First off, I'm grateful for all of the responses I got to my last post.
Announcement ~ Based on the emails I've received, I'm opening up five coaching spots for individuals struggling to move forward after the end of a significant relationship. If you or someone you know is struggling to move on, details are at the bottom of this email.
Secondly, while the forecast in Chicago calls for more snow this week (eek!), January, February, and March have indeed flown by and it's now April. (Three months from tomorrow will be the 4th of July!)
This past New Year's, I told myself that I was going to get back to the gym three days/week.
True confession: I've only gone a handful of times in 2018. (My tight pants and tight shoulders are proof.)
I did have a bit of a whammy against me. A shoulder injury has kept me from yoga and Tabata, my favorite workouts. But still, there are other ways to exercise....
I just want to check in with you.
Is there anything you've told yourself you want to do this year?
How's it going for you?
As a career transition coach, I talk to so many people who haven't been happy for a while, but who've kept putting off making a change.
I can't tell you how often I hear these words, "I should have done this a year ago."
If you're not where you want to be, don't worry. It's not too late.
Consider this a gentle wake-up call.
Fast forward to next year. Fill in the blank,"I'll be disappointed if I haven't -- ."
If that goal is really important to you...
1) What's the first step?
2) How can you set yourself up for success?
My first step was getting into Physical Therapy. (I was recently cleared to go back to yoga. Woohoo!)
I'm an Obliger so I'm setting myself up for success with outside accountability. I found a Sunday gym buddy and am now looking for someone to meet me there on Tuesdays and Thursdays until I can get back to Tabata.
What's your goal? "I'll be disappointed if I haven't...." If you tell me in the comments below, I'll check in with you in three months to see how it's going.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ~
Based on the response to my recent post, I'm opening up five coaching spots for individuals struggling to move forward after the end of a significant relationship.
It's easy for heartbreaks to keep us stuck for a long time. It can take six months or it can take six years to move forward. Which do you want?
If you're interested in applying for one of these five relationship coaching spots, email me by Tuesday, April 17th.
