Have you been wracking your brain on your commute to and from a job you’re starting to dread, wondering what on earth you want to do?
Have you been reading books, listening to podcasts, and trying for a good long while to figure out this career thing on your own?
Do you believe there’s more to work (and life) than what you’re doing right now?
Let me guess: You're smart, talented, and hard-working.
You want to do great things in your one lifetime. (And you want to make a comfortable living doing it.)
You’re confident in your abilities and know you want a big change, but there’s one crucial piece missing: You aren’t sure what that change is.
Maybe you have no idea what you might do next…?
Or maybe you have some ideas, but don’t know how to choose…?
There are so many things you could do in this world. How do you know which is right for you?
Are you realizing you could use some help figuring out what you want to do and how to get there?
Great! Because that's exactly what I do.
When most people make a career change, they don’t see all of their options and/or they don’t thoroughly evaluate their options.
As a result, they often end up no happier than they were before.
Do you want to make a career change that will lead you in the direction of greater happiness and fulfillment in your life?
A smart career change takes time, but I’ll be with you to make sure you’re asking the essential questions and taking the important steps.
When we’re through, you’ll know exactly what you want to do next (and you'll know that it will be leading you towards a life you want.)
This isn’t cookie-cutter coaching. Every client of mine is a unique individual, has different circumstances, and needs different kinds of support. By working with me one-on-one, you'll get the personalized help you need in order to get really clear on what you want next.
As a coach, career transitions are my specialty. I know the best questions to ask to both open you up to new possibilities, and to narrow your focus from too many shiny objects. I also know what’s important to do in order for you to find a perfect next step in your career path.
If you're ready to invest time and energy to become truly confident in what you want next, and if you want to partner with someone who will challenge and support you, keep reading…
Do you want to start taking real steps to make your dream career change happen?
Do you want to make sure you're thinking it through clearly so you end up happier than you are now?
I can help.
Here's how it works:
I typically work with clients for between six to twelve months. (That's a six to twelve month investment in the rest of your life.)
We’ll start with an assessment (a really boring word for a really interesting process!) and a special two-hour coaching session to dig into your results. You may have taken other career assessments that look at your personality or strengths, but this one is different. It looks at how you tend to move through the world. This first step will ensure you move through our coaching process, your career transition, and life, with less stress and more ease.
The results of this assessment will help you to see all of your career options as we work together to figure out a fabulous next step for you.
After the first session, we'll meet twice a month for 50-minutes each time. We'll use these sessions to move through the essential steps to making a career change that sticks, one that leads to work that’s challenging, meaningful, and that also allows you to create a life you love.
We'll dig into the big question: "What do you really want?"
That's the most important question and we’ll figure it out early on. (Because while a fabulous career is wonderful, a fabulous life is really what we're after, isn't it?)
There are so many good career choices out there, even if they take a bit of digging to get to.
I'll help you to see your many options.
Instead of picking the easiest or most obvious career change you see (which might not make you any happier or more fulfilled than you are now), imagine investing the time and energy to find something that really fits.
I won’t let you leap without looking.
I’ll help you narrow down your ideas to find your top options, and then investigate why each one might (or might not!) be a good fit.
In taking time to really explore your top options, we’ll make sure you won't be blindsided by the reality of your new role and end up "back at the beginning," wanting to make another career change.
While hasty decisions and shiny new careers can feel good in the moment, taking the time to go slowly and surely prevents “buyer's remorse" and ultimately results in a much better, more fulfilling career choice.
What would it be like to be crystal clear and confident on your next step?
By the end of our work together, you’ll know what you want, and just as importantly, why you want it.
WITH CLARITY COMES COURAGE.
As a result of our work together, you’ll be able to confidently step into your next role, knowing it’s a great step for you.
If you want to walk hand-in-hand through your career transition with someone who’ll help you to be both open and discerning, reach out now.
Please don’t wait until tomorrow, which easily becomes the next day and then the next day.... I want you to start moving towards what you want most TODAY.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
"Sheila really listened to me - she really got to know me. And every session, homework assignment, or response from her was personally crafted to help lead me to a discovery. She pulled, very specifically, from her wealth of knowledge and vast array of resources, to hand deliver content to me, week after week. At the very same time - she also pushed me, held me accountable, and challenged me. It's been invaluable having someone like that in my corner, helping me THROUGH the changes - past the intellectual understanding of a concept and into the actual, real life implementation of it."

"Coaching with Sheila was one of the best things that I could have done for myself. I feel like I've come away with tools that are tangible, useful, and extremely effective at navigating the challenges of life. I especially appreciated the study of energy levels. I always appreciated that Sheila was accepting, loving, non-judgmental, and insightful without ever making me feel like I was "wrong" or "bad." Sheila's love for what she does is very apparent; she coaches with passion, with kindness, with great insight, and with an ultimate goal of making your life a better one."
